What advantages does Pacquiao have over Cotto besides speed, and throwing punches from different angles?
Cotto is the better boxer, has good punch ratio, has defense which Pacquiao doesn't really have as he just takes a punch (raises his hands in the air which is annoying) better footwork, can box going backwards, great jab (he knocked down Clottey and Alfonso Gomez) on jabs.
The only thing that concerns me is that in the 10-12 rounds Cotto seems to always fight backwards such as the Margarito, Mosley, Clottey fights it seems like he gets some psychological effects from the Margarito fight and during this point Pacquiao's aggressiveness may overwhelm Cotto.
I know I may come out as a Pacquiao hater, but seriously Cotto has significant advantages and if he loses I will be really disappointed. My prediction is a Cotto victory perhaps a late technical knockout in the 11th round.
